With more than 15,000 stores in 44 states Dollar General strives to make shopping hassle-free and affordable to consumers across the country. In addition to building stores, DG also has 15 distribution centers in locations nationwide. Communicating with employees at these distribution centers can pose a communications challenge.
Applied Video Technology worked with Dollar General to install audio visual systems in distribution centers located in Bethel, PA, Janesville, WI, San Antonio, TX, Jackson, GA, South Boston, VA, Longview, TX, and Amsterdam, NY. Each location has similar technology for ease of use and includes AV systems in break rooms, conference rooms and training rooms. AVT provides all system engineering, Extron Control system programming, and Project Management for these projects.
