AVT is currently hiring for the following positions:

AV Installer - Entry Level

Are you interested in the exciting and growing field of Audio Visual Systems Integration? If so, this could be a great opportunity to learn and grow. We have a new entry level position available to assist in the preparation of AV and video production system projects. Duties will include pre-testing of AV system components, racking, wiring and termination of cables, prepping and delivery of system components to job sites, and more. We will teach the basics of system fabrication with hands on training, plus pay for additional training for classes offered by the Infocomm University, as you work towards your CTS certification. With this solid foundation you will have a terrific opportunity to advance to other positions including Field Installation, Project Management, Engineering and Programming depending on your interests and dedication.    

 

AV Installation Field Technician

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and service of electronic AV systems.  Successful candidate should have an understanding of current AV and IT signal flow structure and is expected to have experience in low voltage wiring, cable termination, screen, speaker and projector installation, troubleshooting and system commissioning skills. We offer paid for continuing education on best practices for emerging technology in conjunction with Infocomm and NSCA and expect the AV Installation Field Technician to attain and hold a CTS certification. The AV Installation Field Technician is under the supervision of the Lead  Project Technician and reports to the Project Manager.

 

Lead Project Technician

Responsible for the successful completion of a specific job. Oversees technicians and installers to ensure quality of workmanship on a specific job. Must be resourceful & solve problems encountered on the job. Must communicate with clients, designers, other trades and subcontractors to finish the project on-time & on-budget.  Should provide on-job guidance and training for entry level installers. Must have a thorough understanding of current AV and IT signal flow structure and is expected to have experience in low voltage wiring, cable termination, screen and projector installation, troubleshooting and system commissioning skills. Knowledge of Crestron, AMX, or Extron Control Programming is a plus.  We offer paid for continuing education on best practices for emerging technology in conjunction with Infocomm and NSCA and expect the Lead Project Technician to attain and hold a CTS-I certification.  The Lead Project Technician is under the supervision of The Project Manager.

Salary and Benefits:

AVT offers very competitive, industry-based salary and advancement programs. Extra bonus compensation is paid upon CTS attainment levels. We offer health insurance through a Cafeteria 125 plan, participation in a 401K after 90 days of employment and 15 days of paid Personnel Time Off (PTO), prorated based on start date.
